Three bands take on rock and pop anno 2009

Thursday, November 19 at. 20 open student house in Aarhus doors to the three bands; Spark Plug, "Tomm London" and "The Boy That Got Away" will give their vision of Rock and Pop in 2009.
Spark Plug was formed 10 years ago on the basis of rock and members' desire to experiment with the music. The three musicians behind Spark Plug has played numerous concerts all over the country and find their inspiration in music ranging from 60s mastodons, of 80s punk and until the 90s California rock. Tomm London is, however, a relatively new band that is coming up in the Danish music world. The band stands for a mixture of rock and pop, that is not like other bands in the country. Tomm London describes their music as a mixture of the American songwriter tradition and the Scandinavian melancholy. Finally, "The Boy That Got Away" a band that stands for the new and different. The band is tired of the standard templates which they believe exists in Denmark, and has a desire to reach the audience with their music. The band is an energetic band who want to catch the listeners on a dance floor rather than at home on the couch.
