Seven ministers to ensure education for all

The government set up a broad-ministerial committee to ensure that all young people complete secondary education.
At least 95 percent of young people should complete secondary education. The goal is well known, but the last and crucial step is missing. For there are still 10 percent of school leavers who do not get an education after 9th or 10th grade. This challenge government is now taking on themselves and therefore reducing a committee of seven ministers to come up with coherent proposals throughout secondary education. Virtually all young people start on a youth, but for many young people drop out rapidly again. It is far from satisfactory in a society like the Danish, who must live by competent and highly qualified staff. In addition, it is often difficult for individuals to have an education as a springboard to adulthood. For example, nine out of 10 social assistance recipients under 30 years no professional training, and the demand for unskilled labor is expected to fall dramatically in the coming years. Young people without education are thus an uncertain future. Therefore, the objective that 95 percent of young people should complete at least upper secondary education in 2015, also obvious really. But it is not enough to formulate an ambitious goal - the goal must of course be backed by initiatives that support it. It must be a broad ministerial committee is now secure. The Committee shall, by December 2012 come up with coherent proposals that can support more young people get an education. Of the table is for Children and Education Christine Antorini: "When a young falls from a vocational education, it is because it is not always conditions that have something with the school to do. It may be that the reason is related to the young person's income basis, housing or social conditions. Therefore, the Committee of Ministers diversified, so we can make suggestions where all humans are thought of, "said the minister, adding:" and then we have a stronger focus on evidence and experience of what works. " Ministerial committee will work with: -To dropout rate must be reduced so that more young people complete a started training. It will happen at an earlier age. -That There must be a high level of vocational training that is relevant to labor market needs and higher education.
