It is with great pleasure that I assign Writes Award 2011 for Rebekka Bach-Lauritsen. The novel is useful reading for every teacher and an understanding of the technical difficulties, pupils Veronika may have. The award is a symbol that it is so incredibly important that our children and young people learn to read and write. Students who have difficulty reading and learning, need help urgently. This has implications for their well-being in school and is the prerequisite for optimum performance in most subjects. Veronika sounds like accordion is her debut as a children's author.
