How to stay healthy at SU
You have just moved home or may have lived for yourself for some years as a student at SU. It has often either been on pasta with pesto or a good freezer pizza down from Facts, but you continue to say to yourself that you want to live more healthy. It is a bit of a widespread misunderstanding that living healthy is only expensive and unattainable. It can easily be done at SU and we will tell you how.
Buy fewer but good food
It is a good idea first and foremost to prepare a food plan for yourself for a week at a time. In this way you can get an overview of what to buy and how to use remaining food from a dish from the day before to dishes two to three days or more afterwards. Prioritize, for example. Buy 3-4 healthy foods for one dish, some of which can also be used for the subsequent dishes you will make during the week. That way you save both money and get some healthy food at the same time.
Work at home or outdoors
If you can not afford fitness, you can easily train at home or at leisure. There are many magazines where you can find overviews and explanations of exercises that you can do at home. However, if you prefer to see the exercises being presented to you, you can use YouTube to find some training videos for home training that you find relevant to you. There you can find exercise videos, for example, only focusing on training one particular area of the body, such as the stomach. You can also start running small trips at a time outside, but if you're not easy doing it yourself, you can, for example, sign up for a running club and at the same time create some new contacts that way.
