SONIC 2.0 - Cold sounds / Warm hearts
SONIC 2.0 - Cold sounds / Warm hearts, whose theme is pointing at the meeting between acoustic warm voice and electronic cold tones, or the parallel between the Nordic cold climate with its warm inhabitants, is a festival of electronic music organized in Copenhagen, the Nordic region's hub and gathering. With this initiative, we will help to create an atmosphere for musical innovation. This is achieved by inviting significant young Nordic sound artists as most working with electro-acoustic music, something which is a strong component of the new Nordic music today.
SONIC offers close cooperation between composer and musician, the result is presented during this year's edition of the SONIC. A kind of cooperation which encouraged the where the musician and composer meet in ensemble, through example. the composer executes live electronics with an acoustic musician. The main center of gravity lies on the live feed of the electronic and / or acoustic music.
