Travel cheaply in Denmark - Free Ferries and Orange Tickets
The Corona crisis has put an end to many Danes' summer plans. Both holidays abroad and festivals have been canceled, which can quickly make a good summer gray and sad. In July 2020, 53 ferries uter around in Denmark free for cyclists and pedestrians. This means that you can now go to islands like Ærø, Samsø and Fanø without having to pull the purse for the boat trip.

Fanoe

At the end of July, the annual dragon festival is held, which attracts both islanders and tourists. It is the world's largest kite meeting, with 5000 kites flying around on Fanø's beaches.
