HM Queen Margrethe comes Rebild Festival in 2012.
Rebild Society is celebrating its 100th anniversary and on this occasion participating Queen Margrethe in the festive event in Rebild d. 4 July 2012. The anniversary will be marked on the difference course and you can read more about Rebild the festival activities here .

Rebild the festival history
In 1912 a group of Danish immigrants in America some 100 acres. Land of the beautiful nature area between Rold Skov and Lindsborg y. At the first Rebild Fest, which was held that year, the natural park donated to the Danish society, and ever since July 4, America's Independence Day, celebrated every year in Rebild of thousands of people.

Feast in Rebild
Both emigrants and their descendants as Danish citizens have celebrated this day of celebration. Rebild Festival is an expression of gratitude to the polity, which received more than 300,000 Danish immigrants, and the tradition is maintained in order to strengthen friendship ties between the United States and Denmark

Stars and Stripes and Flags are flown side by side in the natural amphitheater in Rebild. Music, entertainment, community and speeches by prominent Americans and Danes express the ties between the United States and Denmark together.

Among former head Rebild speakers include members of the Danish royal family and former US presidents, George Bush, Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon.

In connection with the celebration in Rebild held in the festive city of Aalborg (about 20 km north of Rebild) numerous events that span multiple days.
