Pop-Pilot will get more girls in the music industry.
There are too few women in the music industry. It will Rosa.org (Danish Rock Council) do something about.
Since 2012, they arranged a music camp in several places around the country, for girls aged 13-16 years. There are not previously organized a similar music camp in Denmark, and is therefore unique.
The project is called Pop-Pilot and the goal is to capture the interest of young people for the world of music and the many facets it so early that they have the opportunity to develop in the industry. It is not only musicians and singers, but also songwriters, managers, bookers and agents.
To lead and guide the girls through the world of music at music camp, have Pop-Pilot teamed up with Katinka Bjerregaard from the band Katinka. She will be director of the event in Fredericia. As a role model who recently materialized in DR's KarriereKanonen, she will help the girls to get more courage and confidence.

Besides the event in Fredericia held music camp also in Randers and on Amager. All three events will take place in the autumn holiday d. 15.-21. October, so the girls can fully focus on the music.
