1 hour: Panic or planning?
Even if you do not have many hours to plan your event, then it will no doubt be a disaster if you do not plan just a little bit. It's about being efficient!
You must have a handle on what you need to achieve to plan your event. Therefore, it is important that you make a list of the things that you need to be in control of and preferably in the order of priority! No idea where to start? So, start with these four points:
Money: What is the budget?
Venue: Where should it go down?
Guest List: Who and how many?
Roles: Who?
#Tip: Use a scheduler so you can quickly get an overview of the tasks to be solved and can share it online with others. For example Trello or Google spreadsheet .
2nd hour: Money talks!
The first thing you will need is a budget. It is alpha omega, you know how much money is squander, when planning your event.
Maybe you do not put a budget before, but fear not! The easiest thing you can do is to find existing budget template , so you can quickly and easily get started with your budget planning. You must of course adapt it to your event!

3rd hour: Location, location, location
Once you've mastered your budget, then it's time to find out who will come to your fabulous event and where it will be held. Is it a studio-event, you have the option to use the premises on campus, and thus keep you costs down!
You can also organize your event at a bar / restaurant, and thus avoid having to manage the bar and the food. Whether you are managing for the whole, or whether to outsource the workload, is, of course most of the price!
1. Find premises
2. Notes max number of people (use it in your promotional)

5. hour: Helpers
You must be in control of who would like to help you, and the roles performed by whom. Your bartenders you obviously have confidence, but must also be someone who can put the party at the bar. Should I have guards or must be afryddere? It is now, you need to delegate tasks to the event day!
In addition to personnel, then you should be in control of the bar - it is the main source of income for your event! Therefore, it is important that you have mastered:
What you will sell at the bar (beer, drinks, shots, soft drinks, food etc.)
How much has to be purchased
Prices and drinks menu / menu
