Which study job fits your study?

Nearly all students are considering taking a job at some point, and most of them are through more jobs during their education. When you choose study jobs, there are several different things to look for. Which job to choose depends, among other things, on what you study and how your study is structured.

Do you need a relevant study job?

Many university programs suggest that you have a relevant study job. For example, it may be in a museum if you read history. A relevant study job is often a great way to get an insight into one's future working life, and it can help to create good contacts that can help you get a full-time job when you are graduated.

In some programs, your study job is almost part of the program because you learn some specific programs and techniques that you do not learn in your education.

If you are studying a craft education or a professional bachelor, you will be very skilled in practice, so your study job does not necessarily have to be relevant. If you want to supplement the SU a little bit during your school periods, here you can choose virtually any job. Some prefer a job that is completely different from what they do everyday. So, for example, you may choose to be a pawn in a nursery during the holidays or look like.

How much do you have to work?

If your study is very independent so you do not have tuition every day, you can choose many different types of jobs. There are both jobs that require you to meet up at work and jobs where you can work from home. You can choose from your own temperament and according to what best suits your everyday life.

If you primarily do self-study, you may also consider some completely different study jobs. There are many types of jobs where you work for some periods and free in others, so you can, for example, spend all your energy on the studies when you are free.

For example, in Denmark there are really good opportunities to work in the offshore industry, where you are out for two weeks and have two to three weeks left. Offshore work provides a very good salary, so you can also work out for a short period of time and save money. You can read more about what offshore jobs require from security courses here .
