Soon Party of the Year 2010 for the city of smiles - Aarhus. Saturday, May 29 beats Buddy Holly in Frederick Street in Aarhus doors featuring festive guests in for a hell of a party. "Party of the Year is back. We saw a fantastic response since we launched the hunt for Denmark's coolest party last year. This year we have many of the same clubs in contention for the price, but also a handful of new, and maybe it will be one of them, which this year will win the title of Smirnoff Party of the Year 2010 Award. The prize for keeping the coolest party and be Denmark's best party city is a huge MTV / Smirnoff-finale party later this year, "says Channel Marketing Manager Anne Sixhøj Pedersen, Diageo, which is responsible for the Party of the Year 2010. Like last year, partiers vote their favorite party on Facebook, but half of the votes will be this year given by a panel of judges made up of hand-picked profiles from MTV and Smirnoff.

Become MTV-host for an evening

Night Feast Buddy Holly also offers an open casting for anyone who has a VJ dream in the stomach. MTV looking for a guy and a girl who can act TV presenters at MTV and Smirnoff big bang of a finale party. So come along and give it full throttle in front of the cameras. MTV will select the 10 best VJ finalists from each party and publishes their efforts on Facebook, and it's up to Facebook users to determine which of the 200 finalists who will be MTV's new VJ-par.

DJs Le Gammeltoftsgade and Rune RK, singer-songwriters Joey Moe and Burhan G is in year Party of the Year ambassadors. Common to them all is that they know and love the Danish nightlife. Again this year includes party on the nightclubs, and common to all the parties are the colorful drinks, polished floors, energetic Smirnoff girls, red carpet with press photographers, TV transmission of MTV and lots of glitz and glamor.
