You can do that if you do not go to the dream training

You can do that if you do not go to the dream training

The entire country's hopeful future students have just been waiting for answers, if they have come to the dream education. According to Politiken, 91,539 people have applied for higher education in 2017, for example, where medicine and education are especially popular among the many applicants. Although there have been 3,205 fewer applicants this year, the medical studies, the civil engineering program and the building construction program have still received more applicants than before. This may have something to do with the fact that more young people are looking for programs with the best job opportunities and a good future salary. Dream training has therefore become the term for the road to economic stability and security - at least for some applicants. But what do you do if you have not been admitted to the dream education?

Get a job

You may start by sending out a lot of well-written applications, hopefully be called for a job interview and then land the job. You can work, for example, a waiter, shop assistant, online cashier or try to find a study job that will look good on your CV and promote your opportunity to enter the dream education on quota 2 the following year. You can also use the work to earn a little extra if you can. Want to travel the year after or go to high school.

Go to college

As mentioned in point 1, it's a good idea to have a job so you can earn some money if you may. Want at high school. You can go to high school for social and personal development, but you can also strengthen your qualifications to apply for education. This applies, for example, to journalism, which, as you know, is measured through an admission test. At a high school with journalism as a line, one can intensively practice previous admission tests for journalism, and write the motivated application with feedback from experienced journalists.

Examine your educational opportunities

Sometimes it turns out that there are several different options for working with what you want to do after the education. Therefore, consider searching for 'second best', which can also pave the way for the desired future. For example, you can study Danish or social studies at a bachelor's degree, then apply for journalism at the master's program. You can also check available places on the dream training or what looks like the dream training, and you may be lucky to have a free space for you.
