6 good advice to (living) at SU

1 and 2: Without food and drink

Do you always end up eating raw oatmeal and pasta with ketchup last month? You are not alone! But fortunately, there are some good tips to pick up, so you do not always have to eat at home at the end of the month (although this is also a good advice!).

1: Make a food plan.

With a food plan, you always know what to buy and you avoid waste - and desperate tours in Net when you have not thought about dinner and the hunger comes scratching. If you want to give it another try, make your food plan for the offerers, which you can find online or via apps.

2: Make large portions.

It may seem a bit strange to make large portions if you are only one or two, but there is a lot to get by making a little extra. If you do not want to eat lasagne for a whole week, divide it into portions and throw them in the freezer!

Another good advice is to eat with others. Then a food club with your friends where you meet for example. Once a week and change to cook - you can share the costs. It's both cheaper to make larger portions and a food club is a good way to see your friends even when you are busy with the studies - because we all have to eat.

3: Cheap study books

You do not have to look forward to the start of the holiday with fear in the eyes - and get into the stomach at the thought of checking Netbank. Start your vacation without spending time in financial ruins by finding your books at a good price online. For example, you can buy study books cheaply at Plusbog.dk here . You can both buy as a member where you have a subscription scheme to get extra sharp prices on the study books ... And without membership where you get your study books at an almost equally good price. That's the end of the holiday start!

4: Become a volunteer

There is nothing worse than sitting in the college room and watching Facebook and Instagram, while everyone's friends are at the festival. On the other hand, it is also not easy to cook oatmeal and boring noodles for months afterwards if you left without advice.

Fortunately, there is a simple and easy solution. Sign up as a volunteer at the summer's festive festivals. In many places, you can get access to the festival in exchange for some hours of volunteering! Not only do you get involved in the summer's festivals, you also get something to write on your resume.

5. Travel cheap with last minute

Even though the money is scarce, it's important to come out and experience something while you're still young. In this regard, it may be a good idea to keep an eye on cheap last minute travel - or cancellation trips as they are also called.

There are bargain trips for a lot of different types of trips ... And some of them most of us know are probably the cheap charter holidays. However, if you miss an alternative, you could also consider a good old-fashioned summer house here in Denmark with friends or family: For holidaymakers often also have last minute offers. An example of this is found at Esmark, where there is often a discount to pick up a number of last minute holiday homes on the North Sea here .

6: Control the economy

It may not be the most exciting advice, but it works! Find out what it's you spend your money on, so you can both get an overview and see where you might need to stay a little longer. Take a month or two where you collect ALL your beans - all the way down to the smallest pack of chewing gum, and then you can make an overview of what you spend your money on.

In view of that, you may want to make a budget. A budget may not be the smartest in the world, but if you know what your money goes for, you may also want to go aside. A little saving for fun and a little savings for the more serious are both good to have if you do not want to thank no for a weekend trip - or if you suddenly go to the dentist.
