Italy is calling you - Run yourself down and see why
The Danish weather is Gajol weather, as they say. But one could also say: The Danish weather-ride south-weather. Whether it is winter or summer, it's always a more pleasant climate south of the Alps. Once you have been on a trip to Italy and experienced the culture and lifestyle that they have there, where you can pretty much sit outside at cafés all year round, except in the quite northern Italy, then you know also that you completely certainly be there again.
Perhaps you have been on a study trip to Florence or Pisa and saw the leaning tower, visiting the many museums and eaten on an original trattoria or pizzeria? Good enough is not the Italians invented pizza, but they are the ones who have made it popular and therefore they are known for it.
There are many Danes who falls for the country and move there afterwards. A small house in Tuscany with its red tiled roofs and a small vineyard to. It's something that pulls. However, it is mostly the older segment moving down there. The rest of us have to settle for going on holiday in the lovely country.
You can choose to take a package holiday go there, but then you experience probably not much more of the country than the pool at the hotel. If you have the opportunity to take on road trips with a group of friends, then you should do it. Self-drive holidays are the hot new and you get to experience much more than a charter. With a self drive holiday you can decide where you want to go and you also avoid being forced to run for a bus, a host of other charter guests if you want to get out and see something other than the hotel room's four walls. There is so much to see that you will come again and again and discover something new each time.
Slip away from Denmark and take either skiing in the winter or discover the beautiful vineyards and the beautiful nature in the summer. That way you also to eat as many gajoler, but can enjoy the sun and heat, as we so often miss in Denmark.
