Strikes scares students
Analyses indicate that the decline in applications due to the negative reports, the two professions experienced in 2008. Many students are scared of such violent strikes that signals poor working conditions and low pay. President of the Danish Nurses, Connie Kruckow, believes, however, that it is better future students are scared off from training instead of that they think everything is rosy and dropping off later. Teacher training has, inter alia, with the slogan "Our main message to teachers is that we have the best job " reversed a large drop in applicants in 2007 to a slight dip in 2008.
