How to write a good academic assignment

- Argumentation
Argumentation is essential in a good academic task. If you would like to practice meta-communication, you can start exaggerating your use of meta-communication, after which you can remove what you consider is superfluous.
- Do not be afraid to discuss
You must remember that in a good academic assignment it is not about making arguments that do not have any counter-arguments. However, it is a good idea to discuss: For example, there are points between theory and practice that can be discussed. In a good academic argument, you relate both to your own and others' arguments, which is an important part of a successful academic assignment. Your argumentation and your method choices may well have weaknesses, but as long as you relate to them, it shows that you are able to discuss and relate critically. If you think this part of the academic assignment is challenging, you can practice by making a list of criticisms of your own method or theory choices. Identify the elements that you think are the weakest, and then describe the weaknesses. But on the other hand, you should also explain why you have chosen to include the method or the theory, even though it has some weaknesses.
