Opera: The Fall of the House of Usher

The Funen Opera April 12 Denmark premiere of the opera "The Fall of the House of Usher " after a short story by the famous American poet and author Edgar Allan Poe. The opera will be the New Yorker composer Philip Glass.
Edgar Allan Poe's psychological horror story about a man's madness and destruction and love and hope, excite and challenge the imagination. The many hints of murder, superstition, homosexual and incestuous relationship gives gloomy forebodings - it is reality or imagination? Who loves whom? Who is alive, who is dead? The horror spreads and one thing is certain; nothing seems to be what it purports.
