The Center for the Study of the Americas will hold a conference on Americans' perceptions and conceptions of Europe. The event focuses on the following themes: • American perceptions of Europe: history and development • Representations of European society • European economies and markets • Europe as a trading partner and to economic competitor • European foreign and defense policies • Perceptions of European politiska processes Stan Sloan, founder of Atlantic Community Initiative , will be the keynote speaker with a lecture with the theme: the Bush administration and Europe.
