The worldwide Galathea 3 expedition documented in the new film. Expedition achievements paved the way for the website Virtual Galathea where you among other things can get inspiration for teaching.
A TV crew and a group brought together scientists, sailors and students at research expedition for 257 days. It's what guests at the premiere of the new documentary about Galathea 3 expedition may experience when the film is shown for the first time Tuesday, December 1. The expedition and the ship "Aries" docked in April 2007, and scientists are still investigating try and find results. Several findings have formed the basis for the educational project Virtual Galathea 3, which is supported by the Ministry of Education.

For each lesson there is background material that complements the textbooks content. There are rewarding exercises where the student under the guidance sets itself in the researcher's place and apply research results and observations from the expedition.
