Copenhagen University Big Band plays their annual and very popular Christmas concert in the Student House. The band is this year present a brand new Christmas CD.

If you did not know that the University of Copenhagen has its own big band - and a habilt and popular one of them - then you should stop by the Student House on December 15 pm. 20:00 where MIBB, as the band is called, play their annual Christmas concert. Last year the concert drew so many people to the venue on Købmagergade was filled to capacity. And this year it will probably be an equally large crowd. MIBB in fact recently released Christmas album 'You Better Watch Out' with jazzy swing arrangements of a number juleklassisker, including John Frederick Coots and Haven Gillespie's 'Santa Claus Is Coming To Town', from the album also borrows its title. The orchestra, which is characterized by its four-man vocal group, backed by a rhythm section and 13 fans, and have put the set list with emphasis on the new album, but there is also room for a couple of classic big band arrangements which do not necessarily have Christmas as the theme.

There is free admission to the concert.
