Follow the Danish and mathematics - it pays!
New figures from the Ministry of Education show that students who do well in Danish, and to some extent mathematics - are well placed to do well in other subjects. Often, young people who have problems with these particular subjects, have problems all the other subjects.
There is some truth
Professor Niels Egelund, head of the Danish PISA surveys says to Berlingske:
"PISA studies show that on the whole, are the same students who are proficient at it all, and that there is a high correlation between students who are good at reading, and the students who are good at math . Of course there are children and young people who are particularly adept at language or math and science, but not much else. But they are not so common. "
So to make it easier for yourself in the future, it's probably a good idea to follow a little more with the Danish and math lessons!
