The government's new training committee had its first meeting today. The goal is to find solutions to the problems internship in vocational training.

It is a top priority for the government that young people in vocational get an internship. It should be a training committee, which the government has set up help. The Committee must find lasting solutions to practical training area, and how school apprenticeship scheme can be more flexible. Children and Education Minister Christine Antorini, look forward to follow the committee's work.

"We need to find a long term solution to the placements for young people and strengthen the education guarantee, and I feel great willingness among the parties to come together to carry out this important task," says Christine Antorini.

Met today

The Committee took today the first steps with an initial meeting. Participants should among other balance expectations with respect to possible initiatives in this area.

Besides the Ministry of Education is also Finance, the Danish Employers' Confederation, LO and KL represented.

Its first recommendations is scheduled to be ready during the autumn so that they can be included in the budget negotiations for 2013.
