Blue Flag season approaches as the temperature of the bath water the past few weeks has risen steadily.

In Kolding Kommunne we have four beaches which this year awarded the flag. Løverodde, Binderup, Grønninghoved and Hejlsminde. Blue Flag include characterized by clean water, security and experiences. You can read more about the requirements of Blue Flags official website.

Big Blue Flag day

As a new celebrates Kolding Municipality this year awarding of the four Blue Flag at a "Big Blue Flag Day" on Løverodde d. June 10. On the day makes biologists and nature guides from the municipality up and talk about wildlife in the shallows. There will also be an opportunity to get close to either snorkel or even to catch small animals with nets and crab leash.

On the day are also invited other actors associated with beach sand and water. They need help to focus on summer activities at the beach and water.
