100,000 have visited the internship guide on the internet
Internship Guide GtilP.dk is developing rapidly. More than 100,000 have visited the website that helps young people to go to the right internship. Before long published Wizard also as app.
GtilP.dk has been around for over two and a half years and have now had more than 100,000 visitors.
Ramanan Balasubramaniam working in the Ministry of Education. He is part of efforts Retention Caravan is behind the website. Ramanan says that the many visitors often hear about and introduced to working with GtilP.dk at vocational schools through their teachers and internship supervisors.
"We are extremely pleased that so many have visited the page, because it is an image that there is a definite need for help and guidance when young people on their vocational training must find an internship," he says.
Young people seeking internship can get advice and guidance on GtilP.dk.
Text and video
GtilP.dk is an online, interactive, structured guide and training portal for young people who want help and guidance to find their internship.
The website allows the young via text and video material hear about a variety of industries, and the website offers advice and training tools for how to write a good application or a resume.
There is also advice on how to seek out and talk to companies, and how to prepare themselves for the good conversation with the company for an internship.
On the website the internship seekers thus help in a variety of ways - both in video and text form.
"Young people are different, and we therefore try to reach everyone who is interested in an internship. Also across the learning styles and other preferences. That is why we have adapted the website to the different needs, offering information and guidance in both text and video, "says Ramanan.
App on the way
GtilP.dk is made in collaboration between the Ministry of Education, Retention Caravan, Erhvervsskolernes Publishing and selected vocational schools.
Before long publisher partners behind the wizard another tool when GtilP.dk released as app in early December 2012.
"Our app is yet another offer for the internship seeker, so they can get help, inspiration and guidance towards their internship," says Ramanan.
