One access to adult education and training

Users do thenceforth to go to one place to get advice on adult education and training. It is the content of a new bill, which aims to establish eight to 14 regional adult and continuing education centers (VEU centers).

VEU centers will help to create greater clarity across the course choice especially new users and users with complex training needs only need to go to one place to receive advice on adult education and training. It is the content of a new bill, as presented in parliament on 29 October 2009. The centers will bring together knowledge and expertise from all AMU providers and adult education centers, which will enhance both the clarity and quality. The cooperation between these institutions that are crucial to users' different competence needs to center. The establishment of the new VEU centers will, among other things mean that both labor and jobs in an area will have a more flexible and efficient offer of adult and continuing education. The new structure will also create an even greater focus on quality and impact in the geographical area in which each center covers. Moreover, the intention of the Bill to strengthen the interaction between institutions, local education and training committees.

Many features of the new centers

VEU centers will be established at selected existing educational institutions that are approved to offer adult vocational training and subject to the Danish institutions for business education. Educational institutions that are approved to offer AMU must be involved in the VEU center, which covers the area where the institution is located. Each VEU center will have its own rots to advise on VEU Centre's activities. Finally, the bill that tasks from existing local adult guidance networks will surpass the VEU centers, and the centers will have a coordinating role in the business outreach, marketing, needs analysis and others.
