Tourist in your own country - experience other aspects of Denmark

For some, it may seem a bit shady to have a holiday in Denmark. However, it's a bit about what you do. Most people have not been anywhere in Denmark, but instead go to big cities like Aarhus and Copenhagen, where there is always life. The student may not even afford city tours with expensive restaurant visits and shopping, or a trip abroad, so it may be an opportunity to see some of the places you would not otherwise visit.

Take a day trip to a small town

There may be more waiting experiences in one of the smaller cities, which you may not have considered before. For example, you can go to Kerteminde, where you get the best old-fashioned ice-wafers, and can be cultural at the Johannes Larsen Museum, or experience guinea pigs, seals and other sea creatures in Fjord & Belt. You can also choose to go to Middelfart, where you can experience beautiful ceramics at the Clay Ceramics Museum and end the day with a nice meal at Restaurant Fænøsund. You can also take a full day trip to the Louisiana Museum in Humlebæk, which offers exciting exhibitions from world-renowned artists. There are many different sights in the smaller cities that you can explore further to get an overview of what Denmark has to offer.

Take in a cottage

In addition to taking a day trip to a small town, one could choose to go to a cottage. You can go to the well-known holiday homes, such as Blåvand and Tisvildeleje, but you can also choose the more subtle summer areas where there are fewer people for peace and quiet on holiday. There are different types of holiday homes for all tastes, of which they are newly renovated with modern furniture most often the most expensive. You must therefore do what you want from the experience in a holiday home. If you just want to see something else, have the opportunity to swim by the beach and live a carefree life for a few days in a holiday home, you can go for the cheapest and most simple holiday homes. If, on the other hand, you are interested in a luxury holiday in a cottage, you can choose to invest a little more money in a nice holiday home with nice designer furniture, music system, internet and television.
