About the relationship between metaphysics and political thought of Spinoza. March 13 Kl. 19.15 at SDU in local 91st

Nowadays, we often hear that nothing can be deduced from what is to what should be. In contrast, we find Spinoza an intimate connection between his metaphysics and ethics, including political thought. The lecture will illustrate this approach but also argue that today we could benefit from seeing that there must be a connection between the two areas of life.
