SU rules changed

SU rules changed

New rules are now only based on what the students earn while receiving SU. They will no longer be pulled if they later get well-paid jobs.

A high salary after the end of the study no longer means that part of the training (SU) to be paid back to the state. How has it been so far, but Tuesday adopted all parties in parliament an amendment to the state educational grants. The modification that only be based on what the students earn while receiving SU, so that the income of the rest of the year does not affect the rest. Education Minister Bertel Haarder (V) is very pleased that the change has been implemented with massive political support. - It has worked unfair and incomprehensible that students who were so talented and fortunate enough to get a good income after they graduate, should be punished for it financially, finds Haarder said in a statement.
