Global understanding is created in us through education and fellowship. The IPC you meet many different cultures from around the world. It's not an ordinary Folk High school, like many other Danish Folk High schools att are satser on Danish values, but rather a Folk High School with a focus on global and cultural differences and values and how they intertwine with eachother.
To help and support understanding and Accepting others IPC udviklet some core values att the school try to live by every day:

- Democratic samråd
- Respect for life and non-violence
- Promotion of community and social responsibility

At IPC are six core values that they live: Respect and openness, Equality, democratic consultation, respect for life and non-violence, promotion of community and social responsibility, and sustainability.
At the school, creating relationships that help to create a more tolerant world citizens and the core values are present in all aspects of life on the IPC - something the students here have to respect and live by.
In 1988, IPC the great honor and privilege to be named the official UN Messenger of Peace by the then Secretary General Javier Pérez de Cuéllar. It is an appointment that support the background of the effect and the idea that IPC founder Peter Manniche had. Each day trying School to follow this example to the door to honor this tribute by encouraging peaceful coexistence at school and beyond.
