History House - Local History Library

In history's house you can find information about Odense and Funen history.

The reading room contains books, newspapers, local magazines, records and images. Certain records and images stored in remote storage and must be booked in advance, which can be made by telephone or by. mail (stadsarkivet.bmf@odense.dk). Staff are librarians and historians. They will be happy to help you find answers to your questions, either in the reading room's own materials or using the information on the Internet. If you do not find the answer from us, the staff will show to others who might better answer. The reading room are computers for public use, as well as copier and reader microfilm. There are also connectors, so you can bring your laptop. We also offer free Internet access, as we have installed HOTSPOT (wireless internet). All it takes is network card in your PC.
