Before long, the students jump out, and if you also have a future student in the house, it's soon time to think about how the celebration should go. Here it can be very worthwhile to start the preparations well in advance, so that you do not stress and forget something. This day is not only the student's day but the whole family's and everyone should enjoy the day.

You can advantageously lay out a plan in which the various chores are divided into when they should be done. Move as much as possible from the day itself, and do what you can, in as good a time as possible. If you are going to buy tables for the party, you can do it a long time in advance and store the tables in your tool shed or in an extra room.

Prepare the garden well in advance

Also things like napkins, drinks, disposable packaging and dressing can be bought well in advance and stored and there is no need to wait until the last minute to do the things one can do in advance.

If the party is to be held in the garden, it may pay to start making it neat well in advance. Cut down, repair the jars and weed between the tiles a few weeks before the big day, then just keep it straight. The day before the party, the grass is mowed so it is nice when the guests arrive.

The menu must of course also be considered. For the truck ride, it is a very short visit, because the students have many stops on their trip around to all the students' homes, and often it is just between ten and twenty minutes, where a little food and drink must be served.

Here, too, one can prepare and have cooked food that can be frozen or perhaps simply cooked the day before. Meatballs can be fried in advance, so they just need to be warmed up when the young people approach, and sausage horns can also be made long in advance.

On a trip with maybe 20 stops, you can quickly get too much, and therefore it can be a good idea to include in your considerations where you are on the route and what the students at this time may need.

If you are one of the first on the route, the young people are probably hungry, and then it may be relevant with, for example, meatballs or small sandwiches, which fill the stomach and provide something to resist. If you are at the end of the route, it may be more obvious with cut fruit on sticks, which is fresh and refreshing, because you may need it at this point in the trip.

So there are several things to consider when the student party is approaching and the house should be on the other end. With good planning and preparation, you get to the finish line well and can hold a good party for your student.
