The little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid is one of Denmark's biggest tourist attractions.

It was originally created to offer travelers welcome in Copenhagen harbor. It was a gift donated by brewer Carl Jacobsen and executed by sculptor Edvard Eriksen to Copenhagen. Today we hear the most about the little mermaid when people are trying to destroy it.
