The study Danish literature is of Soren Kierkegaard, Carsten Jensen, Tom Kristensen, Michael Strunge, Johannes V. Jensen, Henrik Nordbrandt and many other popular and well-known writers and poets. Danish is in many ways a study in Denmark's cultural history illustrated by the enormous treasure of literary works published. But Dane also gives the students an insight into how communication takes place eg via written media such as books, poems, journals, and digital media.

Put simply, the Danish education founded on three basic subject areas: Danish as language, Danish literature and media analysis.
