Danish Addiction Counselor (DAC)

We qualify our students to treat and advise dependent and their relatives.

DAC program has a broad approach to addiction and affects as alcohol dependency, addiction and pathological gambling.

DAC-trained typically employed on private and public clinics, and the relatives advice. A DAC uddannets work can also be more preventative in nature and include information and outreach a Work towards.

DAC program is a user-financed full-time study, which takes 18 months. DAC program is SU-justified. There are studies every year the first week of September.

At DAC program is daily instruction at the property. 9:00 to 13:00 (occasionally pm. 14:00 or 15:00). Training is provided by external professionals who daily deal with the given educational area.

Alongside teaching there is included a series of written tasks that relate to professional topics. Finally includes two internships in the DAC program.
