Searching for a flatmate at Amager Strandpark

A fully or, if you prefer, partly furnished room, 9.7 square metres, with a large bed 140×200 cm, desk and a TV set with Apple TV and Netflix subscription is available for rent from end of August 2026 or later depending on when it will suit you. We are keen on finding the right person, so if the right person shows up, we can wait until 15 September or 1 October if it suits you better.

We prefer someone intending to stay until at least the end of January 2026.

The whole apartment has 2 bedrooms, one living room, a large bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a nice sunny terrace and a hallway and is 108 square metres totally.

If you like to smoke, please do so outside on the terrace.

Your flatmates will be two friendly guys who have been a couple since 2012:

Lars-Terje is 51, Danish, and works freelance with journalism, publishing, editing and translating books, teaching how to write and conducting public opinion polls.

Viroj is 43, Thai, and works as a university lecturer teaching economics. He also has a creative side and likes photography and graphic design.

We both like to travel as much as possible, like art, photography, nature and hiking, and we are searching for a new flatmate who likes to be social once in a while over dinners, watching a movie or some new exhibition or go for a hike somewhere.

The building is new, built in 2014, and is 300 meters away from the beach, and just opposite the street from a Metro station (7 minutes to Kongens Nytorv and 7 minutes to the airport). Plenty of supermarkets, cafes and restaurants nearby.

The available room can accommodate only one person but of course you can have visitors if you like.

The monthly rent of 6,300 DKK covers the accommodation plus heating, use of water and shared Internet (wi-fi) and a common Netflix subscription. Besides the set monthly rent, we share the costs of electricity and cleaning materials, divided equally among 3, so approximately 200 DKK for your part. And of course it’s no problem to have your address registered for CPR purposes.

The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and you are welcome to use our kitchen utensils. You also get your own shelves in the refrigerator and a box in the freezer.

Please note, our photos are a little bit old, since we have been renting out the room on a continous basis since 2016 and not had time to replace them with newer photos. Our latest flatmate stayed for 3 years. We used to have a dog, but alas, no more, and dogs are no longer allowed in the building, unfortunately (but if you have a small pet like a cat that’s no problem). Also, we just painted the walls in your room, so it will look brand new.
